Swiss Diplomat In Iran Found Dead After Fall From Residential Building


 Dubai: The main secretary at the Swiss government office in Tehran was discovered dead on Tuesday subsequent to tumbling from a tall structure where she resided in the north of the city, a representative for crisis administrations was cited as saying by Iranian news organizations. 


The Swiss unfamiliar service (FDFA) said a worker at its government office in Iran had kicked the bucket of a mishap, without recognizing the person in question. "The FDFA and its head Federal Councilor Ignazio Cassis are stunned by the unfortunate demise and express their most profound sympathies to the family," it said. 


Iranian crisis administrations representative Mojtaba Khaledi said the ambassador's body was found by a landscaper after a worker who showed up at her condo from the get-go Tuesday saw she was feeling the loss of, the news organization Fars revealed. 


"This individual was the main secretary of the Swiss consulate," Khaledi disclosed to Mehr news organization. "The reason for her fall still can't seem to be resolved," he told Fars. 


The ambassador was 51, the semi-official news organization ISNA announced. Different reports put her age at 52. 


Switzerland has addressed U.S. discretionary interests in Iran since Washington and Tehran cut ties not long after the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
